60 years ago the DNA structure was solved, leading to a scientific revolution which culminated in 1961 with the determination of the genetic code, explains ICREA research professor at IRB Barcelona Lluís Ribas. The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
