60 years ago the DNA structure was solved, leading to a scientific revolution which culminated in 1961 with the determination of the genetic code, explains ICREA research professor at IRB Barcelona Lluís Ribas. He revisits the story of what happened up until to today's research on genetic translation in an article in El País.
