Doctorados Industriales, a call run by the Spanish Ministry for Science and Innovation, aims to promote PhD training in companies by co-financing the employment contracts of those undertaking doctoral studies. To favour the insertion of highly qualified staff into the business sector, PhD theses focus on industrial research or experimental development projects.
