Journalist Malen Ruiz de Elvira devotes a feature article to IRB Barcelona in the blog “Amigos de la Ciencia” (Friends of Science), promoted by FECYT, the Spanish Foundation of Science and Technology. Ruiz de Elvira has written a chronicle entitled "Locos por la biomedicina" (Crazy about biomedicine). During the visit to the center, she spoke to director Joan Guinovart, one of the group leaders in the Oncology programme, Angel R. Nebreda, a PhD student, Laura Boulan in Milán's lab, and the head of the Innovation department, Cristina Horcajada.
