El programa matinal de TVE, La mañana de la 1, a l'espai Saber Vivir, dedica un vídeo als efectes nocius de la glucosa per a les neurones. La recerca conjunta entre els laboratoris de Joan J. Guinovart i Marco Milán revela que l'acumulación de la glucosa a les neurones té un efecte en malalties neurodegeneratives.
