La Opinión de Zamora le dedica un amplio reportaje a Angel Nebreda y su reciente incorporación al Programa de Oncología del IRB Barcelona. El grupo “Señalización y ciclo celular” que dirige centrará sus investigaciones en la proteína p38 MAPK que inhibe la iniciación tumoral y el grupo de proteínas RINGO/Speedy que regulan el ciclo celular. “Estamos muy interesados en estudiar aspectos del cáncer de mama y de colon y realizar estudios sobre metástasis, lo que enlaza con los intereses del centro y su grupo de expertos, como Eduard Batlle, Roger Gomis, Travis Stracker o el propio Joan Massagué”, dice Nebreda.
