El Punt Avui, La Vanguardia, Antena 3, EFE and El Diario Vasco, among other media, have published articles about the recent research led by IRB Barcelona and CNAG-CRG, which highlights that skin ages because its cells “forget” their function and stop secreting collagens and other proteins. The study has been published in the journal Cell and could have therapeutic applications aiming to help aged skin to form scar tissue faster and more efficiently after damage or after an operation.
