IRB Barcelona researcher and specialist in crystallography, Miquel Coll publishes an article in La Vanguardia about the benefits of the recently inaugurated synchrotron Alba, located near Barcelona, for biomedical research. The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease. To this end, it conducts multidisciplinary research of excellence to cure cancer and other diseases linked to ageing.
