The newspaper Diario Médico devoted a long article to the latest work by Cayetano González's laboratory published in the prestigious journal Science. "The results show that these tumors mimic gene expression patterns characteristic of germ cells", said Ana Janic, first author of the study and a PhD in the laboratory headed by Gonzalez. The study opens the door to the development of new treatments against this kind of cancers.
