The Diari de Terrassa narrates the story of Marc Botifoll, a first-year baccalaureate student at the IES Montserrat Roig. Botifoll is one of the 24 outstanding students who, on Saturday, started the course "Crazy About Biomedicine", an initiative undertaken by the IRB Barcelona and the “Fundació Catalunya - La Pedrera”.

About IRB Barcelona
The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease. To this end, it conducts multidisciplinary research of excellence to cure cancer and other diseases linked to ageing.
