Researchers at IRB Barcelona participate in the scientific workshop series “FES RECERCA” (Do research), which is addressed to secondary school students and teachers, and the public at large.
On Saturday 17 October, the Barcelona Science Park is relaunching the initiative “Fes Recerca!” (Do research!), a series of scientific workshops designed for the public and involving researchers from the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona). The sessions will be held in the building known as “la Pedrera”, which belongs to the Caixa Catalunya. To participate, you should make a reservation on the Park’s web page.
“Fes Recerca!” seeks to contribute to improving scientific culture by allowing people to get a first hand experience of research, and to strengthen scientific vocation among students. The researchers invite the public to perform experiments and to learn the lab techniques used in current day-to-day biomedical investigation. The workshops will be held from 11h until 13h on the following Saturdays: 17 and 24 October, and 7, 14, 21 and 28 November.
