The scientific news website Materia echoes research on a gene related to the internal clock of organisms. The journalist questions IRB researcher Salvador Aznar Benitah about this discovery. Aznar Benitah studies the circadian rhythms of skin stem cells and how these modulate their activity in function of whether it is day or night in order to ensure protection against ultraviolet radiation.
