The Italian blog devoted to science news OggiScienza, like other national and international media, has echoed the research headed by Ernest Giralt and Pau Gorostiza in a collaboration between IRB Barcelona and IBEC.

Published in Angewandte Chemie, the study describes how the researchers have designed peptides that can be regulated by light to control biological processes. This breakthrough in chemical nanobioengineering will allow the development of drugs that can be regulated by light. More information in the press release.
