The March issue of the magazine of the Spanish Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SEBBM) includes a report on the evolution of the R+D system based on the set up of new centres organized following legal and administrative criteria that differ greatly to those used previously. Researchers and scientific policy makers address whether this new model is consolidating and whether its influence is extending through the system.
About IRB Barcelona
The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease. To this end, it conducts multidisciplinary research of excellence to cure cancer and other diseases linked to ageing.
