Several media have echoed the studies of Dr. Joan Guinovart’s group published in the Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism and in Human Molecular Genetics on the dual role of glycogen in neurons. Specialized in "glycogen metabolism", this research group is devoted to studying the functions of glycogen in the brain.

About IRB Barcelona
