The radio programme "Pa ciència, la nostra", presented by Daniel Arbós i Màrius Belles, has talked about the Open Day at IRB Barcelona, which was held on Saturday 13 May. Muriel Arimon, Public Engagement and Science Education Officer, explained that this event is the showcase of the Outreach Programme of the institute, which seeks to bring science closer to a wide range of public. "We organise activities for different audiences, including students, teachers and schools. And Open Day is an opportunity to get closer to all those interested in science. It is a day that everyone can discover something interesting and can be close to scientists," she explains. Involving around 90 volunteers from scientific and administration staff at the institute, the event registered about 400 visitors.
