"La Festa de la Ciència i la Tecnologia" take place this weekend, June 16-17, in Barcelona's Parc de la Ciutadella
Meritxell Teixidó, research associate in Ernest Giralt's Peptides and Proteins group, will give a talk on "how can we deliver drugs to the brain?". This activity is part of the "Microtalks" session where scientists in different disciplines speak about the research they conduct in labs in easily understood terms. The microtalks are for a very general public and will take place in the afternoon of Saturday June 16 and the morning of Sunday June 17. The Festa de la Ciència includes more than 90 activities for children over the age of three. The festival is organized by the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona, and more than a hundred organizations, including universities, research centers and companies, will participate.
