The latest issue of the Spanish newspaper “El Mundo” features an interview with five geniuses of cutting-edge science whose scientific careers are being carved between Spain and the US. Ordovás, Izpisúa, Baselga, Fuster, and Joan Massagué (adjunct director of the IRB Barcelona) agree that the key to success has been sleeping very little and working very hard. "Common sense and moderation" is Massagué’s recipe to survive the jet lag involved in working places 6,000 Km apart.
