The printed edition of the Galician magazine ECO Revista do Eje Atlántico has interviewed the biologist Helena González-Burón, who obtained her doctorate in biomedicine from IRB Barcelona, where she was Public Engagement & Science Education officer from June 2014 to March 2016. She is currently a member of the Big Van scientific outreach group.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease. To this end, it conducts multidisciplinary research of excellence to cure cancer and other diseases linked to ageing.
