Eulàlia Belloc, associate researcher in Raúl Méndez’s lab, explains to “Què Qui Com” (TV3) how they make use of eggs from the frog Xenopus laevis. The scientist describes the care taken when handling the frogs, extracts eggs live on the programme, and explains how they study the proteins in the eggs with the aim to further elucidate fundamental processes such as cell division.
