The coordinator of the Oncology Programme and head of the Colorectal Cancer Lab at IRB Barcelona, Eduard Batlle, has talked to the EFE Agency about the award of “Princesa de Asturias en Ciencia y Tecnología 2015” to Emmanuelle Charpentier and Jennifer Doudna for the development of the CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technique.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
