Today the newspaper "La Vanguardia" devotes an extensive news article to the conference given by the IRB Barcelona's adjunct director, Joan Massagué, at the "Barcelona Tribuna" yesterday. The event was organized by the "Societat Econòmica Barcelonesa d’Amics del País" the "Asociación Española de Directivos" and the Godó Group – and was sponsored by Gas Natural and Telefónica.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
