Two opinion articles in La Vanguardia about the contribution of mathematics to our understanding of life. Camille Stephan-Otto Attolini, facility manager of the Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Unit at IRB, lends her vision and experience on the application of mathematics to biology and defends the need to draw attention to an area of science that is in continuous need of more and better professionals.

About IRB Barcelona
The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
