The Knowledge Industry Programme, run by AGAUR (Agency for Management of University and Research Grants), a public funding body of the Government of Catalonia, fosters the transfer of technology and knowledge to the business sector. IRB Barcelona has been awarded funding in three project stage categories: Llavor (2), Producte (4), Mercat (1; project awarded to the spin-off Iproteos).
