Abstract

In this seminar I will present our work that combines genomics and super resolution microscopy to understand gene regulatory paradigms in development and disease. In particular, I will present our work on using expansion microscopy and genomics to understand the mechanisms that activate transcription and mediate post-transcriptional regulation after fertilization. In the second part of the talk, I will present how we are combining genomics and massively parallel reporters in human cells to understand the regulatory mechanisms of sequence variation in untranslated regions in human disease and cancer.
