Instructions to connect to the eduroam Wi-Fi service using various devices
People who can access this service
At IRB Barcelona this service is only for people who have an institutional e-mail address (@irbbarcelona.org) or people from other institutions that are linked up to the eduroam roaming access service. The credentials for access are as follows:
- "username@irbbarcelona.org" + password (BEWARE: it's the computer username followed by @irbbarcelona.org) and the password is the computer password)
From where can I access the service?
You can access the service from any other institution affiliated with the eduroam project. Don't try to access the service from the PCB facilities, use instead the PCB wifi network.
How do I connect to the service?
To connect to SSID eduroam, your device (whether it’s a mobile phone, a tablet or a laptop etc) must have a safe client program that is compatible with EAP-TTLS+PAP mode. Not all operating systems have one, therefore in those cases it will be necessary to install additional software.
Members of IRB Barcelona must follow the instructions below to install the right software to connect to eduroam.
