La Razón and Info Diabético have each published an article about the work done by Manuel Serrano at IRB Barcelona: "If we eliminate damaged cells, the function of aged tissues is greatly improved, that is, they are rejuvenated," says Serrano, who goes on to point out that "it has been possible to delay and reverse the aging of small mammals, such as mice, with the use of experimental drugs that eliminate damaged cells."
