RTVE, Ara, 20 Minutos, Daily Mail, Jornal Médico, Sic Noticias, among other national and international media, have published articles about a recent study on autism. Researchers co-led by Raúl Méndez, head of the Translational Control of Cell Cycle and Differentiation Lab at IRB Barcelona, have discovered that the protein CPEB4, a molecule that regulates protein synthesis, is impaired in most cases of autism.
