Various media, including the Spanish TV channel RTVE, have echoed the research performed by scientists at the Institute of Biomedicine of the UB (IBUB) on a new technique that measures the production and use of energy in brown adipose tissue, a key aspect in the development of obesity.
Published in the journal 'Advanced Science', this work involved the collaboration of Antonio Zorzano, group leader of the Complex Metabolic Diseases and Mitochondria Laboratory at IRB Barcelona, and David Sebastián, research associate in the same lab.
