Joan J. Guinovart, director of IRB Barcelona and group leader of the Metabolic Engineering and Diabetes Therapy Lab, has been on the TV programme “Els Matins de TV3”, participating in an open debate on Science vs. Humanities. Guinovart highlighted the need for a balance between these disciplines to be fully informed.
He also stressed the fundamental role of teachers in getting students interested in the fields of both Science and Humanities.
