Catalonia's television channel “TV3” talks to Oriol Gallego about his recent study on cellular protein machinery, which also involved PhD student Irene Pazos.
Published in the journal Cell, this work combine genetic engineering, super-resolution microscopy and biocomputation to unveil key functional features of an assembly of proteins that is vital for animals and plants.
TV3 and other media covered the study, which was done in collaboration with researchers at the University of Geneva in Switzerland and the Centro Andaluz de Biología del Desarrollo in Seville.
