The local newspaper “ALERTA” devotes an article to Eduard Batlle, ICREA researcher and group leader of the Colorectal Cancer Laboratory, who has been awarded the 2016 Carmen and Severo Ochoa Prize. This distinction acknowledges Eduard Batlle’s contributions to unraveling the behaviour of colon tumours and how these tumours become more aggressive.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
