Local, national and international headlines have echoed the study on a new epigenetic mechanism that ensures the maintenance of skin stem cells. The study, done by ICREA researcher Salvador Aznar Benitah and published in Cell Stem Cell, provides further information on the basic biology and regulation of stem cells in a constantly renewing tissue.
