Director of IRB Barcelona, Joan Guinovart, was among the hundred innovators and inventors gathered in the second Kinnernet gathering in Catalonia. TV3 reported on this gathering, which the organisers describe as "irreverent, disruptor event looking for innovation, creativity and new ideas." Guinovart, accompanied by IRB Barcelona's Head of Innovation, Cristina Horcajada, said that "Kinnernet allows you to meet really interesting people: its a hotbed of new ideas".
