Contact
The two centres will promote the exchange of PhD students and foster scientific collaboration.
Aware of the value of educational, cultural, and scientific exchanges, the director of IRB Barcelona, Joan J. Guinovart, and the director of the Center for Integrative Biology of the University of Trento, Alessandro Quattrone, have signed a collaboration agreement to support the exchange of PhD students between the two centres.
Approved at the end of July, the agreement seeks to increase contact between the labs hosted by the two institutes by means of PhD student exchanges, facilitating their registration in seminars, workshops and courses of interest to this community and, given the mutual interests of the two research centres, strengthening scientific collaboration.
The new programme is an addition to the international agreements that IRB Barcelona has established with the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology (Kobe, Japan), the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS)/Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (Bangalore, India), the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology (Warsaw, Poland) and the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (Nijmegen, the Netherlands).
