Xavier Ayala: “In “Vi per Vida” we raise funds for cancer research”

“La Mañana” newspaper has interviewed Xavier Ayala, sommelier by profession, on the occasion of the fourth “Vi per Vida” (“Wine for Life”) charity wine-tasting event, an initiative launched by him and his family to support research into cancer and metastasis conducted at IRB Barcelona. Ayala talks about what drove him to set up the association and organise these popular wine-tasting session, which, apart from having a charity angle, also seek to bring Catalan wine culture closer to the general public.
