Joan Guinovart is interviewed on the morning programme “Els Matins” presented by Lídia Heredia on TV3. In the interview Joan Guinovart talks about various topics related to research, such as investment and scientific vocation and how to strengthen the latter through innovative programmes such as Crazy about Biomedicine.

Guinovart stresses the need for more philanthropic initiatives in order to "contribute to maintaining the current levels of quality", which, in spite of the situation, he considers excellent in Catalonia. In this regard, he explains the efforts of the sommelier Xavi Ayala, who has set up the charity organisation "Vi per Vida" (Wine for Life) to raise funds for research into metastasis. IRB will receive the funds collected in the first Charity Wine Tasting event, to be held for 500 people on 31 May in Mollerussa.
