Several media, including the Diari de Girona, Diario Medico, EFE ciencia and international media such as Medical News and ScienceDaily, have echoed the article published by Antonio Zorzano’s lab on the role of DOR protein in muscle atrophy. The results of this study may provide a solution for the muscle deterioration associated with advanced age and with several diseases, such as AIDS or cancer.

About IRB Barcelona
The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
