Scientists will explain over three days how cancer is studied to the general public.
On 8, 9 and 10 April, the 12th edition of the Fair "Recerca en directe" will be held in the Chapel Room of the historic building of the University of Barcelona (UB). Like every year, IRB is participating in this event. The exhibition - organized by the Barcelona Science Park and UB with the collaboration of “Obra Social “la Caixa"- seeks to increase the scientific culture of our society, bringing people into contact with the research carried out in Catalonia.
This year, several members of Angel R. Nebreda’s lab, coordinated by Begoña Cánovas, will be taking part in the Fair "Recerca en directe" with a workshop called "How we study cancer". The activity will allow visitors to use a microscope to recognize tumor cells, dividing cells and visualize human tumor.
