Today, Tiago Botelho, from the Department of Innovation, is participating in the Entrepreneurial Tech Fair 2013.

The IESE Business School has invited IRB Barcelona to present the project “Nostrum Drug Discovery” at the Entrepreneurial Technology Fair 2013, being held today on its Barcelona campus.

IESE has chosen ten technology-based projects promoted by research centres and universities in Catalonia that are in early development stages and that seek to establish contacts and collaboration agreements with students and ex-students of IESE.

Tiago Botelho, responsible for Industrial Liaison in the Innovation Office at IRB Barcelona, will present the bioinformatics platform for drug design known as “Nostrum Drug Discovery” co-developed with Barcelona Supercomputing Center, and run by Modesto Orozco. This innovative project has received funding from the Botín Foundation through the technology transfer programme Mind the Gap.

The Entrepreneurial Tech Fair organised by IESE is a meeting point for entrepreneurs in technology in Catalonia and the alumni community of the business school. This event is supported by ACC1Ó and by the main Catalan universities.
