Roger Gomis, cancer researcher at IRB Barcelona, analyses the impact of tobacco on the health of smokers and passive non-smokers in the Catalunya Ràdio programme "El Cafè de la República". He believes that it is fundamental that we continue to inform people about the dangers involved to raise awareness that tobacco is one of the few risk factors, together with sun exposure, that has been directly linked to cancer.
