Sarah Sherwood, head of Communications and External Relations and coordinator of the programme “Crazy About Biomedicine” explains on Catalunya Ràdio the main objectives of this year-long workshop in the life sciences for high-school students. “It is our duty as research institutes of excellence to be involved in the education of young people and to foster scientific vocation." She continues, “there will always be a need for good and passionate researchers in lifes sciences here and worldwide”. IRB Barcelona is organizing the course in collaboration with the Catalunya Caixa Foundation.
