TVE's morning programme "La mañana de la 1" devotes a spot to the harmful effects of glucose on neurons in the section "Saber Vivir". The joint research conducted by the laboratories headed by Joan J. Guinovart and Marco Milán reveals that the accumulation of glucose in neurons participates in neurodegenerative diseases.
