The newspaper La Vanguardia devotes an article to the recently published work by the researcher Joan Massagué on breast cancer genetics and susceptibility to metastasis. Joan Massagué, chairman of the Cancer Biology and Genetics Program at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center – where the study was carried out – and adjunct director of IRB Barcelona, collaborates closely with the Oncology Program at IRB Barcelona, and especially with the MetLab, which focuses its efforts on the study of cancer metastasis.
