The appointment of Joan Massagué in Science Magazine
Science Magazine echoes the appointment of the biochemist Joan Massagué as Adjunt Director of the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona). It is explained that Massagué will travel to Barcelona once every two months to personally supervise the research on metastasis developed in the lab that he will head.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease. To this end, it conducts multidisciplinary research of excellence to cure cancer and other diseases linked to ageing.
